## about-us

I built the system. I'm the operator who runs it.

I'm Marcos — I've spent my career on the hands-on side of growth: building, tuning, and running the machine. Cosmo is the machine I always wished existed.

## why-i-built-cosmo

The agency I could never find.

Fifteen years of running growth taught me the pattern: at most agencies, the senior person who wins your business gets promoted, poached, or pulled to the next client — and someone junior inherits your account.

Not here. I'm hands-on with every client, start to finish. I wanted that from every agency I ever hired — the best person on the account, and the same person next year. Nobody could promise it. So I built a company where it's the whole design.

Cosmo is what makes that possible: fifteen years of media buying packed into modules and systems I build myself — an AI marketing system that lets one principal operator run what used to take a team. Agencies are adding AI too, but they're building it for rosters of hundreds. I'm a single operator, so every module, playbook, and report gets tuned to the client in front of me. And I keep the company small on purpose: I've stood up the growth foundation for multiple startups, it's my favorite work in marketing, and it only works if I'm in the account — not above it.

A principal on your account in month one. Still there in year three.

## the-career

The career, one lesson at a time.

  1. ClickUp — Team Lead, Performance Marketing. $45M ARR → $250M ARR during tenure · −44% costs YoY
Founding-era marketing team — remote, lean, and responsible for a serious share of company revenue. The lesson: build the system so it adapts as fast as the business, because the goals moved weekly and the machine had to move with them.
  2. Zendesk — Senior Manager, Paid Social & Display. $15M+ global budget · +76% pipeline efficiency
Scaled paid social globally on LinkedIn and Meta, in lockstep with creative, product, and sales. The lesson: top-of-funnel channels can earn hard budget — if you build the multi-touch attribution to prove it.
  3. Sun Basket — Senior Manager, User Acquisition & Retention. $30M+/yr paid social · +65% subscriptions
The meal-kit wars — one of the nastiest auctions in consumer. Worked directly with Meta on first- and third-party data targeting, built the weekly creative-testing engine, and brought the whole program onto the internal team.
  4. CircleCI — Marketing Manager, Demand Gen. +217% MQLs · −55% acquisition costs
The sales-led foundation: optimize to fully-loaded CAC, with a real-time feedback loop from BDRs, SDRs, and AEs on lead quality and message resonance — for a technical audience that smells marketing a mile away.
  5. Livingly Media — where it started. thousands of campaigns weekly · 6 ad networks · +155% profits
Content arbitrage across four publications at pennies-on-the-dollar margins, with creative that fatigued in days. No tool could launch at that scale — so I built our own with the dev team. I've been a marketing engineer since before I had a name for it.
